Weekend Itinerary:

Friday July 24th– Meet and Mingle – We will enjoy a delectable taste of Jacksonville from 5pm-8pm and will be served at the hotel. Catch up with our favorite kinfolk and strike poses for the “gram”. Registration packets will also be distributed during this period. After hour events will be discussed during the meet and mingle.

Saturday July 25th- We will take the time to explore a little black history by visiting the Ritz Theatre and Museum (829 N Davis Street Jacksonville, FL 32202) from 10am-12pm. Our attire for Saturday morning will be plain white t-shirt and blue jeans. Afterwards, you will be on your own to get better acquainted with Jacksonville and we will offer suggestions of places to visit.

Saturday night, we will dress to impress in our family colors (Blue and white) for our banquet at the hotel. We will also get a chance to “Rip the Runway”, so if you want to show off your outfit for the evening or if you’ve brought another fabulous outfit, be prepared to strut your stuff! Start time: 6pm at the hotel.

Sunday July 26th- We will worship at Shiloh Metropolitan Baptist Church (1118 W Beaver St Jacksonville, FL 32204-Downtown Jax location) promptly at the 11am service. We will carpool from the hotel at 10am SHARP. After service, we will have our farewell brunch.

During your stay, we highly recommend using your GPS navigation due to unpredictable traffic volume.

May 6th, 2020

Dear Britton - Myers - McWhite Family,

As our nation faces the ever, evolving crisis of the Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are reminded of how precious each moment in our lives is; and how important it is to spend that time with the ones we love. This global pandemic, however, has necessitated the need for social distancing and “stay at home” orders for the safety and well-being of our nation, our state, our cities, our communities and our families. The devastation of this highly contagious virus is real; and its deadly effects are something that your family reunion committee cannot ignore.

Therefore, it is with great disappointment that we postpone our family reunion until the year 2021. This decision was not easy, but it was made after much deliberation and prayer. We did not want to obligate the family contractually, nor collect any money from family members without some reliable certainty that the family reunion could move forward. We pray that all of you stay safe and healthy. Pray for one another; check on each other and love one another. We look forward to seeing all of you in July 23rd-25th, 2021 in Jacksonville, Florida when we celebrate the great victory that our Lord has won.

For questions or concerns, please call either (804) 386-6045 or (804) 591-4317.
